Temperate forests grow in the Eastern United States,Canada,Europe,China,Japan and certain parts of Russia
Description of temperate forest:
- Temperate forests has two levels of trees and an under story of shrubs below.
The richness of life:
- Temperate forest has many varies of plant species.Most have three levels of plants.Lichen,moss,ferns,wildflowers and other smaller plants on the ground floor

Temperate forest has many animals like the red foxes, raccoons,,white-tailed deer,porcupines,board-winged hawks,snowy owls,pileated woodpeckers,etc
Physical Factors

Light:Temperate forest gets quite a bit of light. The only factor limiting the amount of light would be the trees in the forest.
- Temperature:Temperate forests are areas with high levels of precipitation, humidity and contain a variety of deciduous trees.The average temperature in this biome is 60 degrees F in the daytime and in the nighttime it can get below freezing,every month of the year the Temperate Forest sees some rainfall
- Water:Lots of water is present at the forest since it rains a lot
- Air (quality of air in the ecosystem),
Classification of Living Organisms

Create a food web using at least eight of the living organisms listed above. You may wish to use Microsoft PowerPoint to create your food web. Save your food web as a picture. Finally copy and paste your picture in this section of your wiki.

Give at least one example for each of the following relationsh>ips in the ecosystem:

- Parasitism
- Mutualism
