Meaning / Definition

Coronary artery disease is a disease which a waxy substance called plaque builds up insde the coronary artery,causing accumilation of fatty material in the inner linings of arteries which is caused by high colestrol .These arteries supply oxygen-rich blood to your heart muscle.So when the heart muscle have insuffiecient amount of oxygen,it will lead to heart attack.

Signs and symptoms include pain or preasure over the chest that travels to arms or jaw so known as agina which is caused when  an area of your heart muscle doesn't get enough oxygen-rich blood. Other symptoms also include Burning sensation in the chest or upper abdoment and  Shortness or breath, irregular heartbeat, dizziness, sweating, fatigue and nausea.
