The common sign and symptoms of heart disease is Angina, Angina is chest pain or discomfort that occur in a place where one's heart muscle does not get enough oxygen rich blood.  The pain can also occur in one's shoulders, arm , neck , jaw or back.  Angina is not a disease but a symptom of underlying heart problem.  Angina is usually a symptom of coronary heart disease.  Coronary heart disease is the most common type of heart disease in adults.  It occurs when a waxy substance called plaque builds up on the inner wall of one's coronary arteries.

Prevention and Treatment

Easy ways to prevent heart disease are to have a healthy diet.  Which inculdes variety of fruits and vegetable.  Try to quit tabacco or smoking if you are as chemicals in cigarettes and tabacco can damage the blood vessels and and cause the arteries to narrow.  If one is obese, try to lose weight as that will put the heart on pressure and thus making it harder to pump blood from the heart to the rest of the body.
