Meaning / Definition

Diabetes is any of several metabolic disorders marked by excessive discharge of urine and persistent thirst, especially one of the types of diabetes mellitus. There are 3 main types of diabetes. Diabetes type 1 used to be called  juvenile-onset diabetes. 


Causes and Effects

 Stressful situations can cause blood pressure to spike up that may lead to diabetes. working under pressure, not getting enough sleep, not getting enough exercise.

  If you have diabetes, you cannot eat seafood, sweet drinks, looking tired and sleepy , cannot eat too much white rice, and you need to visit the doctor once a week for checkups. Diabetics can go blind ,get a heart attack, stroke, kidney failure or lose a leg.


Signs and Symptoms 

There are many signs and symptons for diabetes, some examples are frequent urination,excessive thirst,increased hunger,weight loss,tiredness,lack of interests and concentration,blurred vision.


Prevention and Treatment

 Getting an injection from the doctor, eating more vegetables and taking pills that were given by the doctor after taking a meal might cure diabetes

Good job in putting up some information, but certain sections are lacking details or empty.

Some suggestions:
1. Do put all the websites that you gotten your information from under "References".
2. You may want to put in pictures to illustrate your points.
3. Do use a consistent font size and type.
